Language Skills

For that, one have to have a language proficiency up to N4 level and should possess a good communication and working skills. JFT- Basic and JLPT are two language exam to examine language proficiency of candidates.
Language Proficiency Test
Japanese language is mandatory for all to those who want to study, live and work in Japan to carry out daily task. Passing N4 level is compulsory for all candidates in order to work in Japanese company in Japan. Language proficiency is tested through Computer Based testing (CBT). The questions are displayed in computer screen and audio are played through headphones.
Test Structure of Japanese language
The language test is divided in four section. Listening, Reading, Conversation and Expression and Script and Vocabulary.
- Script and Vocabulary section- There are around 12 questions. It is used to test candidates if they are able to read Japanese text used in everyday life. There are some word meanings, word usage, Kanji reading, meaning and it uses.
- Conversation and Expression- There are around 12 questions in this section and it is used to identify if candidate is able to use grammar and expressions which is necessary for everyday conversation. In this section there are Grammar and Expression.
- Listening Comprehension- In this section there are 12 questions, this test is used to identify if candidates are able to understand conversations and instructions used in daily basis while working in Japan.
All the test structure are developed to comfort candidates to understand and follow the instructions while working in Japan. Passing the test will help candidates to understand contents by listening and helps to carry out task smoothly. The test also aids to develop cultural exchange, information exchange while residing in Japan. After participating in the proficiency test, candidates are informed about the result at the end of the test. Within 5 working days after the test, candidates are allowed to view and print result from official website. The range of total score ranges from 10-250 total points, in which if candidates scores 200+ score then he/she will be able to communicate properly while working in Japan.

Japanese government has separated six different sectors for Nepalese for working visa also known as Specified Skilled Worker (SSW). They are Nursing care (Kaigo), food services, accommodation, construction and agriculture.
There are two types of Japanese language test i.e. Specified Skilled Worker (i) and Specified Skilled Worker (ii).

- Specified skills evaluation exam for Construction Industry.

Unlocking Opportunities: Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Visa Program in Japan
Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program is for all. There is no any specific gender or education required. The basic key point is an individual must pass Japanese Proficiency test and skills to enroll. The minimum age requirement is 18 years and maximum is up to 35.
