Approximately, almost all of privately financed international students in Japan are working part time. They can do the part time job up to 28 hours per week with hourly payment around JPY 950, and you cannot do more than mention hour. Please don’t forget that you are there in Japan to study. You can do the part time job if it doesn’t hamper your studies, if it is allowed job by laws.
Income from part time jobs cannot cover all expenses such as school fees, living expenses in Japan. Be sure you have appropriate financial plan so that you don’t have to depend too much on income from part time work.
